INFORMATION ON PORTRAIT SESSIONS:

All session fees are $125. There is no limit on the number of people in a session. Sessions can be in my home studio or at a different location, including Kildonan Park, Kilcona Park or The Forks. Locations that are more than 12 minutes from my house are subject to an additional fee.

Christina will send you an email once your gallery is ready. You will have 2 weeks to place your order. Should you wish to place as order after 2 weeks, your gallery will be subject to a $25 relisting fee.

Newborn sessions are the same price but they last from 2 to 3 hours to allow time for changing and feeding. Please keep in mind that Christina has many hats, blankets and other props in the studio and can only bring a limited number if coming to your house.

NEWBORNS
The studio is kept very warm for newborns. It is important that Mom and Dad dress in layers to avoid getting over heated. Older siblings are welcome to come along but it is a good idea for someone else to take them home after an hour or so, as the newborn session is too long for a young child to be at the studio.

Christina can calm down your newborn and get him/her to sleep. Your baby will often want to feed if Mom tries to quiet him. Be patient and calm. A baby can sense your unease. Christina is prepared to wait for the newborn to sleep and you can relax and let her do her magic.

Minor touch ups are done on all photos.

If you require further editing of your photos, speak to Christina about it. She can remove wrinkles, blemishes or baby acne. The fee for detailed Photoshop work is $100 an hour. Free estimates are available.

CLOTHING CHOICES
Clothing choice is an important consideration. It is best if everyone in the famiy is dressed in the same colour or in tones of the same colour. Clothing to avoid is anything that has a logo, stripes, plaid, floral or patterns.

Please do not ask your child to say, "cheese", or other silly expressions. I would rather interact with them and have them forget that I'm taking their picture. Natural, thoughtful expressions are more pleasing and inviting than cheesy grins.

Children can become camera shy if forced to smile on command. I am much more likely to capture pleasing expressions if your child is not fearful. Why not tell the child that they are coming to visit Chris and will be playing with some toys, rather than having them worry about getting their picture taken?
